First of all, there are two good web sites to go to to find out how much the used car you're interested in will cost, kbb dot com and edmunds dot com. We recommend you go to both sites to get the best idea of what the car will cost. The Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds should both be available for free at your library. It's a bit of a pain to use these resources because you need to know quite a bit of information about the car you're interested in--the make, model (along with any letters or numbers), options, condition, etc. It's not hard to get this information, but I never have it when I go to these sites.

Three other good ways to find out Houston Used Cars prices are to go through your local Thrify Nickel or newspaper classifieds and call some people who are selling cars like the one you're interested in. Within a few minutes, you should be able to get a good idea of what you should expect to pay in the Houston area for a certain used car.
